Bubble Segmentation in Reactors

Deep learning research for computer vision in chemical engineering

My B.Tech thesis: benchmarked seven deep learning models — including Mask R-CNN, YOLOv8, and Mask2Former — for bubble segmentation in stirred tank reactors, reaching up to 65.1% AP on complex STR datasets. Curated a custom 750-image dataset and built the preprocessing, augmentation, and training pipelines in PyTorch and Detectron2.

Building AI-powered wealth management products and scalable data services, combining multi-agent architectures with production-grade backend systems for financial advisors and investors.

  • Architected an agentic wealth management assistant using CrewAI, the A2A protocol, and MCP to orchestrate tools and data sources for advisors and investors.
  • Fine-tuned Phi-3 Mini with LoRA on financial data and built vector search on Elasticsearch plus a FAISS-based RAG pipeline and a Natural Language to Elasticsearch DSL converter for semantic retrieval.
  • Developed an AI equity portfolio designer with a multi-agent system, portfolio optimization, backtesting, Monte Carlo simulations, and a custom diffusion model for time-series forecasting.
  • Built scalable ETL pipelines in Python/PySpark over SQL, MongoDB, and AWS S3, and Angular-based user modules for accessing tax documents.
  • Designed and optimized high-performance Lending Services APIs in Java and Spring Boot for reliability at scale.

About Me

I'm a full-stack engineer who loves turning complex problems into elegant products — from AI-powered platforms to mobile apps with thousands of active users.

I'm currently an AI Engineer / Software Developer at Bank of New York, where I build agentic wealth management systems and scalable backend services. Previously, I interned at Adobe on the Photoshop Express iOS team, and led app development for several student initiatives at IIT Guwahati, including CourseHub (3200+ active users) and the official Alcheringa app (3000+ downloads).

I studied Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics at IIT Guwahati (CGPA 8.8), but software has always been my craft. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new AI techniques, mentoring upcoming developers, and hacking on side projects.
